Combination of New Cabinetry with Base Refacing
This reface & remodel combination turned a boring room into a modern gray kitchen. The upper cabinets were replaced completely and made taller for more storage.
The lower cabinets were refaced, allowing the original countertop to stay in place.
Project Description
These cabinets are the Showplace Pendleton Wide style, painted in Oyster. We replaced two regular cabinets next to the fridge with deep drawers to create some more usable storage space. The new wall cabinets have glass on top to display a tea set and other favorite serving items. Note that the display cabinets are painted Oyster on the inside as well, while the regular cabinets and drawers are regular oak laminate on the inside.
We also installed LED lighting underneath the cabinets to additionally brighten the space. The render below represents only the new additions to the kitchen, with the original cabinetry left off.
